At Chimney Gill Cottage, we consider ourselves a home from home. We want to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible and you leave the daily tasks behind and can focus on having a good time!
Although we are a full equipped holiday cottage, there are still some things we would advise packing to ensure you are organised for your stay and come fully prepared – there is nothing worse than wasting valuable time doing housekeeping when you could be relaxing on holiday.
Food & Drink
Our cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with utensils and appliances so you can make your own meals. We always include a Welcome Hamper so you have the essentials upon your arrival but to enjoy your own cooked meals during your stay, be sure to bring your shopping with you.
Swim Wear
Complimentary passes to North Lakes Spa are included for our Chimney Gill guests so don’t forget to pack your swimming attire and take advantage of the beautiful spa facilities that North Lakes has to offer!
DVDs
We have a TV and DVD player in Chimney Gill Cottage, along with a library of books and DVDs to choose from. However, if you have a particular film in mind or you are in the middle of a box set and want to chill out in the evening, bring them along and use the DVD player provided to watch them on your holiday.
Wellies , Walking Boots & Waterproofs
Chimney Gill Cottage is located on a working farm and is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks. Close to the Lake District, there is an abundance of outdoor activities to keep you busy. With UK weather typically unpredictable throughout the year, it is always a good idea to have your wellies and waterproofs on hand in case!
Chimney Gill Cottage comes well equipped with everything you will need for your stay, but it’s always good to know what else to bring. With shops in the surrounding areas and the farm next door, you’ll never be stuck – all you need to do is ask!
